Oppam Box Office: Becomes The Third Highest Grosser Of Mollywood

Oppam, the latest outing of Mohanlal-Priyadarshan duo, has succeeded in impressing both the audiences and critics. Interestingly, Oppam has now emerged as the third highest ever box office grosser of Mollywood.

As per the latest reports from the trade analysts, the Mohanlal movie went on to collect more than 42 Crores from the Kerala box office, within the first two months of its release.

The movie has also done well at overseas market and made a total gross collection of more than 60 Crores from the worldwide market. It is the third Mohanlal movie to cross the 60-Crore mark.

Oppam went on t o surpass the collection record of Premam, to become the 3rd highest grosser. It is truly remarkable that three Mohanlal films have grabbed the top 3 positions in the all-time highest ever grossers list of Mollywood.

Pulimurugan, the recently released Mohanlal movie is in the first position, by collecting more that 105 Crores within the first 35 days of its release. Drishyam is in the second position, with a total collection of 75 Crores.

Oppam was initially expected to break the collection record of Drishyam, to become the highest grosser of the industry. But, Pulimurugan's release affected the movie's performance, and it was restricted to the thrid position.
