Ozhivudivasathe Kali To Release On June 17!

Well, there is a good news for all genuine movie lovers. Ozhivudivasathe Kali(An Off-Day Game), directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, has found a date to hit the theatres.

The film is expected to make it to the theatres on June 17, 2016. The makers announced this through Facebook.

Ozhivudivasathe Kali is the second directorial venture of Sanal Kumar Sasidharan after the much acclaimed Oraalpokkam, which was the first online crowd funded feature film in Malayalam.

Ozhivudivasathe Kali did win awards at the Kerala State Film Awards for the year 2015. The film was adjudged the Best Film of 2015. It also won the State Award for the Best Live Sound. The film also won an official selection to IFFK(2015)

The film is based on a short story of the same name written by Unni R. The film has been developed into a political satire and looks into the life of five friends who get together for a booze party on an election day. The film did win rave reviews from various festivals in which it was screened.

The film has a host of unknown faces doing the lead roles. Ozhivudivasathe Kali has been produced by Aruna and Mathew under the banner of Niv Art movies.
