CONFIRMED! Perariyathavar To Hit The Theatres On August 19!

Perariyathavar is one such movie, which has been in the waiting queue for quite some time now. There were reports that the film would make it to the theatres in the month of August.

Now, the makers of the film have come out with the official releasing date of the film. The film would hit the theatres across Kerala on August 19, 2016.

Perariyathavar, directed by Dr Biju did win numerous awards from various festivals from national and international circuits. The film also won the award for the Best Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation at the 61st National Film Awards.

In fact, Suraj Venjaramoodu won the National Film Award for the Best Actor for his performance in this film. And now here comes the opportunity all Malayalam viewers can see the performance of the actor on the big screen.

Well, it seems like it is a good time ahead for offbeat movies and small but quality films. Many such films are making it to the theatres, which is definitely a big boost and support for filmmakers who are experimenting with quality works.

Earlier, Ozhivudivasatha Kali directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan and Lens directed by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan made it to the theatres in the month of July.

Both the film had a decent run in the theatres and let us hope that Perariyathavar would also get its due with a good run in the theatres.
