Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Pinneyum To Start Rolling From Today!

Adoor Gopalakrishnan's much awaited film which has been titled as Pinneyum, would start rolling today. The film would begin its shooting in areas around Thiruvananthapuram. The major location of the film is said to be at Sasthamkotta in Kollam.

The film has Dileep and Kavya Madhavan in the lead roles and it marks the comeback of the pair after a gap of 5 years. They were last seen together in 2011 release Vellaripravinte Changathi.

It is after a gap of eight-years that Adoor Gopalakrishnan is directing a film. His previous full length feature film was Oru Pennum Randaanum which released in the year 2008.

Pinneyum is said to be a different one from the rest of Adoor Gopalarishnan movies. This time, the director is narrating an intense love story through Pinneyum.

It is for the first time that Dileep is making an appearance in an Adoor Gopalakrishnan film. It is the second outing for Kavya Madhavan, as she had appeared in an important role in the Adoor Gopalakrishnan film Naalu Pennungal(2007).

The actress informed about the shoot of the film thorugh her Facebook post. She seeked the blessings and support of all her well wishers.

The film which is being produced by Adoor Gopalakrishnan himself, has an ensemble star cast comprising of actors like Nedumudi Venu, Vijayaraghavan, Indrans, KPAC Lalitha, Srinda Ashab etc. Notable Marathi actor Sudob Bhave will also be seen doing an important role.
