Pretham Box Office: 2 Days Kerala Collections

Pretham, the recently released Jayasurya starring horror comedy has been receiving great response from all over. The Ranjith Sankar directed movie has succeeded in impressing both audiences and the critics.

Within the first 2 days of its release, Pretham has made a gross collection of 1.75 Crores from the Kerala box office, thus emerging as the biggest ever solo hit in Jayasurya's acting career.

The movie had an average opening at the box office on its releasing day, but the collection was increased by 30 percent by the second day. Pretham has made a share of 83 Lakhs with the first 2 days.

Interestingly, the number of shows at the various Kerala releasing centres have been increased from the day 2, due to the heavy rush. Pretham is also getting good responses from the outside Kerala releasing centres.

The team and the industry expect Pretham to cross 10 Crores gross collection within the first 10 days of its release. The outside Kerala box office collections of the movie have not been revealed yet.

Pretham, which marked the third association of the Jayasurya-Ranjith Sankar duo, also stars Aju Varghese, Govind Padmasoorya, and Sharafudeen, in the other key roles. Their last outing Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam was also a great success.
