jailed

the
charges

The

which

a
very
intense
subject

had

the
life
of
prisoners
of
Kalapani,
the
cellular
jail
in
Andaman
And
Nicobar
Islands.

Kalapani
is

the

in
Malayalam.

that

who
decides
to
form
a
team
using
jail
inmates.

in
the

is
Welcome

Jail,
which
is
said
to
be
having
majority
of
the
portions
shot
in
the
jail.
The
film

and
scripted
by
Benny

Nayarambalam
has
Dileep
playing
the
lead
role.
Recent
movies
like
Munnariyippu
and
Urumbukal
Urangarilla
too,
had
jail
playing
an
important
part
in
it.
Escape
From
Uganda,
which
had
Rima
Kallingal
in
the
lead
role,
is
one
of
the
first
jailbreak
movies
in
Malayalam.
