I Don't Insist On Lead Roles, Says Prithviraj

Prithviraj, the talented actor is on a high with a handful of promising projects in his kitty. In the recent interview given to a popular daily, Prithviraj opened up about his character preferences.

The actor says that he doesn't insist on playing the lead roles, in all of his films. But, Prithviraj wants to do the roles which provide him, a scope to perform.

He points out that films like Thalappavu, wouldn't have happened if he was adamant about playing only the lead roles. He appeared as Naxalite Varghese in the movie, which had Lal in the lead role.

in Tamil, Prithviraj played the antagonist role in KV Anand's Kana Kandein and Vasantha Balan's Kaaviya Thalaivan. He also appeared in a supporting role in the Arjun Kapoor starring Bollywood flick Aurangzeb.

He had rejected Shahrukh Khan's Happy New Year, for the role in Kaaviya Thalaivan. The actor will be portraying one of the four lead roles in the upcoming multi-starrer, directed by Gautham Menon.

Oozham, Prithviraj upcoming film, will hit the theatres on September 8. He is currently filming for the upcoming horror story Ezra and will soon join the sets of debutante Roshni Divaker's My Story.
