WHOA! Prithviraj-RS Vimal's Karnan With A 300-Crore Budget

Karnan, the Prithviraj starrer directed by RS Vimal, is said to be the most expensive project of Mollywood. The director recently confirmed the reports and revealed the actual budget of the movie.

Interestingly, Karnan will be made as the most expensive film of Indian cinema, with a whopping budget of 300 Crores. Director Vimal confirmed the news through his official Facebook page, recently.

Earlier, it was reported that the movie is made it with a budget of 50-100 Crores. But, RS Vimal states that it is impossible to complete a project like Karnan, with a 50 Crore budget.

If the reports are to be true, Karnan is a multi-lingual, which will be simultaneously made in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Director RS Vimal states that it will be a movie of international standards.

According to the sources, the movie narrates the inner conflicts and love life of Karnan, played by Prithviraj. It also portrays Karnan's strained relationship with his estranged mother and siblings.

It is the second association of Prithviraj with RS Vimal, after the celebrated love story Ennu Ninte Moideen. The project is produced by Venu Kunnappally, under the banner Kavya Films.
