Rumours
regarding
the
rift
between
Prithviraj
and
director
RS
Vimal
has
been
doing
rounds
since
the
last
few
days.
But
Vimal
bitterly
denied
the
reports
in
the
recent
interview
given
to
SouthLive.
The
director
confirmed
that
there
are
absolutely
no
issues
between
him
and
Prithviraj.
He
also
made
it
clear
that
the
duo's
next
project,
Karnan
is
not
shelved
and
will
start
rolling
by
the
end
of
2016.
It
was
rumoured
that
Prithviraj
decided
to
opt
out
from
Karnan,
following
music
director
Ramesh
Narayan's
allegations
about
his
involvement
in
the
song
selection
process
of
Ennu
Ninte
Moideen.
But
RS
Vimal,
who
denied
the
rumours,
thrashed
Ramesh
stating
that
he
is
an
unprofessional
musician.
He
also
revealed
some
shocking
incidents
which
happened
during
the
pre-production
of
the
movie.
According
to
Vimal,
Ramesh
Narayan
composed
8
tunes
at
the
beginning
of
the
pre-production,
without
the
consent
of
the
director
or
the
producers.
He
also
insisted
that
all
the
songs
should
be
included
in
the
movie.
When
Vimal
requested
him
to
fix
a
trial
session
to
evaluate
the
songs,
Ramesh
insulted
him,
stating
that
even
the
veteran
directors
are
ready
to
film
his
songs,
and
don't
dare
to
ask
for
a
trial
session.
After
much
persuasion,
Ramesh
presented
his
songs
in
front
of
the
makers.
But
none
of
them
matched
the
movie's
theme.
Especially
a
sad
number
was
composed
for
a
drama
sequence,
which
was
completely
opposite
to
Vimal's
expectations.
So,
he
asked
Ramesh
to
re-compose
the
drama
song
and
was
planning
to
make
Prithviraj
sing
the
song.
But
Prithvi,
who
was
out
of
station
at
that
time,
suggested
P
Jayachandran's
name
for
the
song.
But
Ramesh
Narayan
cooked
up
a
completely
new
story
after
he
bagged
the
State
Film
Award.
Vimal
also
confirmed
that
it
was
completely
the
decision
the
producers
nad
his
decision
to
rope
in
M
Jayachandran.
Prithviraj
was
not
involved
in
the
process,
as
Ramesh
Narayan
claims.
However,
the
director
has
vowed
to
only
work
with
the
technicians,
who
are
ready
to
cooperate
with
his
ideas,
hereafter.
