WHOA! Prithviraj To Direct Mohanlal

Here is a super exciting news for all the Malayalam movie lovers out there. Young actor Prithviraj is all set to make his directorial debut, that too with a Mohanlal starring big budget movie...!!

Both Mohanlal and Prithviraj confirmed the news through their respective official Facebook pages recently. The senior actor has also shared his first look from the movie along with his post.

The actor looks just brilliant in the first look still, in which he sports a grey beard, goggles, and metal accessories. The project, which has been titled as Lucifer, is written by popular actor-writer Murali Gopy.

Lucifer, which was announced a few years back, was initially supposed to be directed by the late film-maker Rajesh Pillai. But, it was later shelved due to his ill health. Now, Prithviraj has taken over the project.

Mohanlal, who announced the news through his Facebook page, stated his deep excitement about teaming up with the two unique talents of the Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj and Murali Gopy.

The actor also remarked that he is highly excited to associate with the sons of his dear Sukumarettan and Gopiyettan, for their first combined venture. Lucifer will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor, for Aashirvad Cinemas.

It is a dream-come-true opportunity for Prithviraj, who has always expressed his desire to make directorial debut with a Mohanlal movie. Both the industry and media are eagerly waiting for more updates in the project.
