James
And
Alice,
the
Prithviraj
movie
which
hit
the
theatres
on
May
5th,
has
been
receiving
positive
reviews
from
all
over.
In
a
recent
interview,
director
Sujith
Vasudev
revealed
some
interesting
details.
According
to
Sujith,
the
character
James
was
not
written
exclusively
for
Prithviraj.
Several
popular
actors
of
the
industry
were
considered
for
the
role
initially,
as
they
were
all
perfect
for
the
role.
But,
it
was
with
Prithviraj,
to
whom
Sujith
narrated
the
story
for
the
first
time.
But
it
was
during
the
filming
of
Mumbai
Police,
and
the
Sujith
Vasudev
was
not
ready
for
his
directorial
debut
that
time.
Later,
the
director
felt
that
Prithviraj
can
play
the
role
perfectly,
as
he
can
perfectly
essay
the
different
looks
of
James.
The
actor
can
look
young
and
aged
at
the
same
time,
which
is
one
of
his
biggest
plus
points.
Then
Sujith
approached
Prithviraj
with
the
complete
script
and
the
actor
was
impressed
with
it.
The
director
was
very
particular
that
the
actor
should
appear
in
totally
different
get-ups
in
the
movie.
Prithvi's
young
look
in
the
movie
was
finalised,
after
a
considering
several
other
get-ups.
Costume
designer
Arun
and
makeup
artist
Sreejith
also
stood
by
the
director,
in
the
long
process.
