Puli Murugan Is Not Just An Action Film: Mohanlal

Mohanlal, the magical actor of M'town recently revealed some interesting details about his action thriller Puli Murugan. The actor was talking in the recent interview given to Manorama Online.

He states that Puli Murugan is not just an action film, but it has a heart-touching storyline too. Mohanlal ensures that it will be the finest action thriller ever made in the history of Mollywood.

The actor had allotted a call sheet of 115 days for the movie, as it required a large scale making. Along with Mohanlal, a Bengal tiger has also appeared in a key role in the movie, directed by Vysakh.

Initially, the team was planning to cast a cheetah in the movie; but changed the decision, as it was too difficult to shoot its movements. Instead, they went on to complete the shooting with a Bengal tiger.

Mohanlal says that it is too hard to describe the shooting experience with a tiger, in a few words. But, the actor remarks it was a memorable experience, as the shoot was completed without any hurdles.

Peter Hein has choreographed the stunt sequences in the movie. Kamalinee Mukherjee essays the female lead opposite Mohanlal. Telugu actor Jagapati Babu appears as the antagonist.
