Pulimurugan FDFS: Live Updates From Theatre!
Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan has hit the theatres today (October 7, 2016). The film, which is said to be in the lines of an action filled mass entertainer, has been directed by Vysakh. This is for the first time that Vysakh and Mohanlal are joining hands for a film.
Apart from Mohanlal, the film also features actors like Jagapathi Babu, Lal, Kishore, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Siddique, Vinu Mohan, Bala etc. in prominent roles. Kamalini Mukherjee does the female lead role in the film. Popular South Indian actress Namitha, would also be seen in an important role in the film.

Mollywood Debut Of Jagapathi Babu
Popular Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu makes his Mollywood debut with Pulimurugan. Cine artist Beena Antony's husband, Manoj Nair, who is also a film actor, has dubbed for the character played by Jagapathi Babu in the film.
A Big Budget Film
Pulimurugan is one of the costliest movies in the history of Malayalam cinema. Reportedly, the film has been made under a huge budget of 24 Crores, which makes it one of the biggest movies of Malayalam, as far as budget is concerned.
Shot In Forests
Major portions of the film have been shot in real forests. The film was shot in locations like Sileny Valley, Attapaadi, Pooyamkutty forest, Kothamangalam, Ernakulam etc. It took close to 18 days to film the climax portions of the film.
Multiple Postponements
Pulimurugan has been in the waiting for quite some time now. The film, which began in early 2015 was expected to hit the theatres during December 2015. Later it was pushed as July release of 2016 but finally the makers confirmed that the film would open big during the Pooja season of 2016.
