Pulimurugan Box Office: Beats Janatha Garage!

Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starring action thriller has broken all the possible pre-existing records of Malayalam movie industry. Now, the movie has also surpassed the collection record of Mohanlal's recent Telugu outing, Janatha Garage.

As per the latest reports from the trade analysts, Pulimurugan has beaten Janatha Garage to become the third all-time highest grosser of South Indian movie industry. The detailed collection report is expected to be revealed soon.

It is undoubtedly a huge acheivement for the Malayalam movie industry. The first two positions of the South India's top 10 highest grossers list is graced by Rajnikanth starring Pa Ranjith movie Kabali and Vijay starrer Theri.

Janatha Garage, the Koratala Siva-directed movie had young Telugu actor Jr NTR in the lead role. Mohanlal essayed a pivotal role in the movie, which has emerged as the highest grossing Telugu flick of the year.

Pulimurugan, which hit the theatres on October 7, has already made more than 129 Crores gross collection from all over the world. The movie has also made about 15 Crores from its pre-release business.
