Pulimurugan Box Office: Beats The Record Set By The Jungle Book!

Well, Pulimurugan has had a dream run at the box office, so far. The movie now has most of the box office records under its sleeves and here is one more addition to that list of glory.

The movie continues its amazing run in multiplexes centres in Ernakulam and according to the latest reports, the film has eclipsed the record set by Hollywood movie The Jungle Book in Ernakulam multiplex centres.

Pulimurugan has now become the highest grosser at the Ernakulam multiplexes. Reportedly, the film has surpassed the total collection made by The Jungle Book from Ernakulam multiplexes. The Hollywood movie had grossed 3.74 crores from various multiplexes in Ernakulam.

Pulimurugan, which was released on October 7, 2016, took just 42 days to break the record set by The Jungle Book. The film, earlier broke the record set by Jacobinte Swargarajyam, to become the first Malayalam movie to cross 3 Crores at the Ernakulam multiplexes.

Going at this rate, the film might end up becoming the first movie to cross the 4-Crore mark at Ernakulam multiplex centres. In fact, there was a considerable drop in box office collections owing to the note ban, but the movie is moving ahead steadily now.
