Pulimurugan Box Office Prediction: To Join 100-Crore Club?

Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starrer has had a tremendous opening at the box office. The movie is receiving fantastic responses from all over and has already made sure that it will earn the blockbuster tag.

Interestingly, Pulimurugan was released in about 214 screens (including the special shows and fan shows) in Kerala, thus emerging as the biggest ever release in the history of Malayalam movie industry.

The trade experts estimate that Pulimurugan will surely break the pre-existing initial collection records of Mollywood. The movie is expected to collect about 3.5 Crores on its release day, from the Kerala box office.

If the things proceed at the same rate, Pulimurugan might emerge as the first movie from Mollywood, to touch the 100-Crore mark. However, both the audiences and media are eagerly waiting for the box office reports.

The movie, which stars Mohanlal in the title role Murugan, is an out-and-out action thriller which will surely entertain the action movie lovers and Mohanlal fans. Pulimurugan is directed by Vysakh.

It is the first venture of scenarist Udaykrishna of Sibi K Thomas-Udaykrishna duo, as an independent writer. Popular stunt director Peter Hein has choreographed the highly-appreciated action sequences of Pulimurugan.
