Recently, young actor Dulquer Salmaan posted a photo on Facebook, which has him spending some time with his father Mammootty, on the sets of the film Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha.

The photo did go viral and it gained the attention of the online media. Take a look at the Facebook post of the actor.

Oru Vadakkan Veergatha, directed by Hariharan had its script written by veteran writer M T Vasudevan Nair.

In fact, it was for the performance in this film that Mammootty went on to win his first National Award For Best Actor.

The film produced by P V Gangadharan under the banner of Grihalakshmi films, was critically and commercially acclaimed. The film did have a grand run at the Kerala State Awards and National Film Awards.

Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha had an ensemble star cast comprising of actors like Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Madhavi, Captain Raju, Balan K Nair, Oduvil Unnikrishnan etc. in important roles.
