Backing Of Aashirvad Cinemas
Lucifer would be produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. Of late, the banner is spot on its selections, with the recently released Oppam, further underlining this fact.
Earlier, Lucifer was planned to be directed by Late Rajesh Pillai, with the script written by Murali Gopy. Reportedly, the storyline of the film would be the same but with some changes in the scripting pattern for the film, which would now be directed by Prithviraj.
According to the reports, Lucifer is expected to go on floors by mid 2017. The makers are even planning to make the film an Onam release.
The film would have an ensemble star cast comprising of some big names in Mollywood. Apart from Mohanlal, Murali Gopy would also be seen doing an important role in the film. Apart from him, another big star from Mollywood would also be roped in for the film.
