RS Vimal Completes 'Karnan' Script

RS Vimal, the director-scenarist completed the scripting of his ambitious project Karnan. The magnum opus, which starts young super-talented actor Prithviraj in the title role, is produced by Venu Kunnappilly.

Prithiviraj and RS Vimal have earlier worked together in the latter's directorial debut Ennu Ninte Moideen, which was a huge critical and commercial success. Karnan is the second collaboration of the duo.

The epic drama is planned as a multi-lingual, which will be simultaneously released in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. Karnan will feature an ensemble star cast, including Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu actors.

KK Senthil Kumar, the Baahubali cinematographer has been roped in as the DOP of Karnan. Most popular technicians of Indian and foreign film industries are expected to associate with the movie.

It was rumoured that Prithviraj and RS Vimal parted ways, following Ramesh Narayan's shocking allegations about their last project Ennu Ninte Moideen. But Vimal and Prithvi bashed the reports.

Reportedly, the movie narrates Karnan's youth, his friendship with Duryodan, love life, and the strained relationship with the estranged mother Kunti, and siblings Panja Pandavas.
