SHOCKING! Salim Kumar Underwent Organ Transplantation

Salim Kumar, the National award-winning actor is back into the acting field after a short hiatus. As we all know, Salim Kumar was suffering from a chronic disease and was on treatment for a long time.

In the recent interview given to Manorama online, the actor revealed that he is living with the organ donated by another person. Salim Kumar was reacting to Sreenivasan's comment on organ donation.

Recently, Sreenivasan had opined that organ donation is just a new method of cheating. Even though the actor-writer later apologised for his comments, he was heavily bashed by several eminent personalities.

Salim Kumar, who dismissed Sreenivasan's allegations stated that it is extremely painful to hear such words from a person like him. He also stated that he is a strong supporter of donation.

Even though the actor did not reveal about his disease, some close sources suggest that Salim Kumar was suffering from liver cirrhosis. The actor was undergoing treatment at Amritha hospital, Kochi.

Shockingly, death hoaxes about the actor had also surfaced when he was admitted at the hospital. However, Salim Kumar made a comeback into the industry, with the Mammootty starrer Thoppil Joppan.
