Sana Althaf To Make Tamil Debut

Sana Althaf who made her acting debut with the Dulquer Salmaan starrer Vikramadithyan, is all set to make her Tamil movie debut. Sana will essay the female lead, in the sequel of Chennai 28.

The project, which has been titled as Chennai-28 2nd Innings, will have Sana in the role of Anuradha. The actress is playing the onscreen pair of actor Jai in the movie, directed by Venkat Prabhu.

Chennai-28 2nd Innings will also have Shiva, Nithin Sathya, Premji, Vijay Vasanth, etc., in the other major roles. Chennai 28, the prequel, is considered as one of the path-breaking attempts of Kollywood.

Sana entered the film industry by playing Dulquer's sister in Lal Jose's Vikramadithyan. She grabbed the attention of audiences with her charming screen presence and striking resemblance with popular actress Asin.

The actress made her lead role debut with the Fahadh Faasil starrer Mariyam Mukku, directed by James Albert. The movie bombed at the box office and Sana's role went largely unnoticed.

She will be next seen in the upcoming romantic drama Basheerinte Premalekhanam, which stars Farhaan Faasil in the lead role. The movie, which is directed by Aneesh Anwar, will hit the theatres for Christmas.
