Veteran film-maker Shankar, who recently watched the recent blockbuster Premam, is all praises for the movie and the team. Shankar shared his thoughts about Premam through Twitter.
The director opines that Premam is an extremely lively movie, which provides realistic entertainment. Shankar feels that the movie takes back its audience to their teenage days.

He has also personally congratulated the director of the movie, Alphonse Puthren, and the entire team. Nivin Pauly, the lead actor, personally thanked Shankar for his kind words, through his Facebook page.
Premam has created a huge stir not only among the Malayali audiences; but also in Tamil Nadu. The movie was highly appreciated by several popular directors and actors of Tamil industry.
Director Selvaraghavan even went on to suggest that the movie should not be remade into Tamil. He stated that no other director can recreate the magic in the original version.
It was reported that Premam is all set to be remade into Tamil, with Vijay Sethupathi reprising Nivin Pauly's character. However, the project didn't take off and is rumoured to be shelved.
Nivin Pauly succeeded in creating a strong fan base in Tamil Nadu, with the huge success of Premam. The actor has also signed his second Tamil project, which will start rolling soon.
The movie recently completed 245 days in Chennai Escape Cinemas. Reportedly, the movie will also be screened in Maayajal, due to the excess rush.
