Soubin Shahir To Direct A Movie Soon

Soubin Shahir, who stole the hearts with a series of comic roles in some of the recently released super hit films, is planning to direct a movie soon. Soubin revealed his plans in a recent interview given to Manorama online.

The actor has already made a place for himself in the movie industry, with his unique and extraordinary comic timing. His best works include the recently released Dulquer Salmaan starrer Charlie, Premam, Chandrettan Evideya etc.

Interestingly, Soubin Shahir is also planning to debut in a lead role, with Aashiq Abu's upcoming movie. But the actor hasn't commented on the reports yet. However, he is quite busy in his acting career, with a handful of projects.

Soubin, who made his acting debut with the Fahadh Faasil starrer Annayum Rasoolum, was an associate of the popular film-makers, Fazil, Siddique, Rafi-Mecartin, Amal Neerad etc. The entry into the acting field was totally unexpected.

The actor feels that his experience as an associate director has helped him to communicate well with his directors, which has helped him a lot in his performances. Soubin points out Premam as an example for the same.

Among his co-stars, Soubin feels that he has the best camaraderie with Dileep. He remarks that he is close to Dileep since the early days of his direction career. And that bond has helped a lot in complimenting the actor during the comical sequences.
