Sreejith Ravi Arrested Upon Solid Evidences
Sreejith Ravi, the popular actor has been arrested for misbehaving with minor girls. The actor, who was arrested from a film set in Pallassana, Palakkad, was arrested after an identification parade.
Reportedly, Sreejith Ravi has been arrested under the charges of the POCSO Act (Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences) and Section 509 of IPC (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of women).
According to the sources, Sreejith Ravi allegedly exposed himself, made indecent gestures, and clicked pictures of a group of minor girls, who are from a popular school of Pathirippala, Palakkad.
The actor was arrested after the police found out that the registration number provided by the students, belongs to his car. However, Sreejith bitterly denied the allegations and stated that the students are mistaken.
He attended the identification parade in a different get-up so that the girls would fail to identify him. But, the police forcefully removed Sreejith's wig and the student group identified him.
Sreejith, who is the son of senior actor TG Ravi, is known for his roles in Memories, Punyalan Agarbatis, and Karinkunnam Sixes. He will be produced in Palakkad Additional Sessions Court, by today afternoon (September 2).
