If
reports
are
to
be
believed,
Sreenivasan
is
all
set
to
pen
a
script
after
a
brief
break
and
that
too
for
an
upcoming
project,
which
would
be
directed
by
his
close
friend
Priyadarshan.
Priyadarshan
had
earlier
announced
that
his
next
project
in
Malayalam
would
be
a
film,
which
would
have
Prithviraj
in
the
lead
role.
Now,
the
director
has
roped
in
Sreenivasan
to
script
the
movie.
The
team
of
Priyadarshan
and
Sreenivasan
has
gifted
some
memorable
movies
like
Akkare
Akkare
Akkare,
Vellanakalude
Naadu,
Midhunam,
Mukundetta
Sumithra
Vilikkunnu
etc.
in
the
past.
Reportedly,
this
upcoming
project
would
be
in
the
lines
of
a
satire.
The
yet-to-be-titled
film
would
follow
the
journey
of
a
youngster
to
Sri
Lanka
and
the
events
that
happen
over
there.
Major
portions
of
the
film
would
be
shot
in
Sri
Lanka.
Interestingly,
Maniyinpilla
Raju
would
be
producing
this
film
and
if
all
goes
well,
this
film
would
mark
the
comeback
of
Priyadarshan-Sreenivasan-Maniyanpilla
Raju
team,
which
earlier
gave
us
the
movie
Vellanakalude
Naadu.
Meanwhile,
Priyadarshan's
latest
release
Oppam,
which
has
Mohanlal
in
the
lead
role
is
having
a
dream
run
at
the
box
office.
According
to
the
reports,
the
film
has
made
a
gross
collection
of
23
Crores,
within
a
span
of
13
days.
