Ilayathalapathy
Vijay
is
one
of
the
most
popular
Tamil
actors
in
Kerala.
The
actor
has
a
huge
fan
base
in
the
state
and
it
is
quite
evident
from
the
enormous
success
that
his
movies
enjoy
in
Kerala.
Reportedly,
a
Malayalam
film
which
is
in
the
pipeline
would
have
its
central
character
as
a
die-hard
Vijay
fan.
Actor
Sunny
Wayne
would
portray
the
lead
role
in
this
movie,
which
would
be
directed
by
Jijo
Antony
of
Konthayum
Poonulum
and
Darwinte
Parinamam
fame.
Interestingly,
the
announcement
of
the
film
was
made
in
one
of
the
theatres
in
Trivandrum,
where
Vijay's
superhit
film
Pokkiri
was
re-released
recently.
Both
the
director
and
actor
were
present
during
the
function.
The
makers
have
titled
the
movie
as
Pokkiri
Simon.
Pokkiri
Simon
has
its
script
written
by
Dr
K
Ambadi.
The
film
would
be
produced
by
Krishnan
Sethukumar
under
the
banner
Sreehari
films.
The
film
is
expected
to
go
on
the
floors
by
next
year.
Meanwhile,
Sunny
Wayne
is
busy
with
the
shoot
of
his
upcoming
film
Alamara.
The
film,
directed
by
Midhun
Manuel
Thomas,
has
the
actor
playing
the
lead
role
in
it.
The
movie
is
said
to
be
in
the
lines
of
a
comedy
entertainer.
