Suresh Gopi Eyes Lieutenant Colonel Title?

Suresh Gopi, the action star of Malayalam movie industry, is reportedly eyeing the Lieutenant Colonel title. According to the rumour mills, Suresh Gopi is trying hard for the title, following the downfall in his political career.

Earlier, Mohanlal was honoured with the Lieutenant Colonel title and the incident had stirred up several controversies. Some eminent personalities of the society and the media had plainly criticized the Territorial Army's decision to honour Mohanlal.

Meanwhile, Suresh Gopi, who is going through a hard phase in his career, has been trying hard to establish himself as a social activist, as the first step into politics. He was also offered with the NFDC chairmanship.

The actor, even went on to join BJP and offered his complete support to the party in all possible public platforms. But Suresh Gopi's efforts went in vain, as the party refused to nominate him for the NDFC Chairman post.

It is rumoured that Suresh Gopi's comments on some public issues didn't go well with the party. Reportedly, Suresh Gopi is all set to contest in the Legislative Assembly Elections, from Vattiyoorkavu constituency in Trivandrum, on a BJP ticket.
