dropped
due
to
political
reasons.

the
reports,
The
State
was
a
movie
based
on
the
infamous
solar
scam.
Suresh
Gopi
was
supposed
to
play
the
role
of
an
investigation
officer,
who
handles
the
solar
case.
Saritha
Nair
was
said
to
be
playing
herself
in
the
movie,
which
created
a
huge
hype
due
to
its
highly
sensitive
theme.
But
the
team
was
forced
to
drop
the
project
due
to
the
practical
difficulties.
According
to
the
sources,
director
Shaji
Kailas
felt
that
the
sudden
changes
in
the
political
scenario
of
Kerala
will
bring
a
bad
reputation
to
the
project.
So
he
decided
to
drop
The
State.
Suresh
Gopi,
who
was
supposed
to
play
the
lead
role
in
the
movie,
is
busy
building
up
a
political
career.
Reportedly,
he
also
feared
that
the
movie
may
badly
affect
his
public
image.
The
State,
which
was
penned
by
Rajesh
Jayaraman,
was
shot
for

two
weeks
at
Trivandrum.

and
lead
actor
are

announce
the
news
