Will It Be Mammootty-Dulquer Clash At The Box-Office?

Well, it seems like Malayalam film industry is getting ready for a never seen before kind of box-office clash.

The makers of Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming movie Kammatipaadam announced the release date of the film and it is scheduled to hit the theatres on 20th May 2016.

Interestingly, there are also reports doing the rounds that Mammootty's much-awaited film White directed by Uday Ananthan is also planning for a release on the same date.

Even though, no confirmations have been given regarding the release date of White, there are chances for the film to get released in the mid of May.

The film was earlier scheduled to be the Vishu release of Mammootty but had to push the dates further, owing to the delay in post-production works of the film.

Later, the film was expected to release on April 29th, but further delay happened because of the news regarding the theatre strikes.

On the other hand, Dulquer Salmaan's Kammatipaadam is gearing up for the release amidst huge expectations. The film will have Dulquer Salmaan in different get-ups and is said to be one of the most challenging roles done by the actor so far.

Earlier, in 2013, Dulquer Salmaan's Neelakasham Pachchakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi did release along with Mammootty's Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty. But, there was a gap of one day between both the films' release.

In 2014, both Mammootty's Manglish and Dulquer Salmaan's Vikramadithyan made to theatres as a Ramzan release with a gap of 2 days between both the films' release.
