Who Is Mammootty's Thoppil Joppan?

Mammootty, the megastar of M'town, is back with an 'achayan' character after a long gap. Thoppil Joppan, the upcoming Johny Antony movie will have Mammootty in the title character, Joppan.

Interestingly, the actor's character Joppan is a planter who hails from Thopramkudy. He is a strong kabaddi lover and the captain of 'Cheers' kabaddi team. Eldo, Mathan, Aravindan, and Paappichayan are his soul buddies.

Joppan is also an alcoholic, who tends to get into fights too often. The movie, which is scripted by Ordinary fame Nishad Koya, depicts the life of Joppan and friends, and the incidents which turns their lives upside down.

Mamta Mohandas and Andrea Jeremiah essay women who enter Joppan's life, in two different phases. Baby Akshara, the popular child artist who rose to fame with the TV serial Karuthamuthu, depicts a key role in the movie.

Harisree Ashokan, Renji Panicker, Suresh Krishna, Saju Navodaya, Alancier, etc play the supporting roles. Thoppil Joppan is produced by Noushad Alathur and Jeevan Nazar, under the banner under the banner Grande Film Corporation.
