Why Dileep & Kavya Madhavan Gave IFFK A Miss?

Dileep and Kavya Madhavan, the newly-wedded couple was expected to attend the IFFK 2016, which was recently held in Trivandrum. But, they gave the event a miss, to the much disappointment of their fans.

It was reported that Dileep and Kavya Madhavan will attend the screening of their recent film Pinneyum and the event which was held to honour the director of the movie, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, at the film festival.

But the couple decided to give the event a miss at the last minute. Reportedly, Dileep and Kavya were unable to attend the event, as the actor is busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie, Ramaleela.

However, rumour mills suggest that the couple gave the event a miss, as they didn't want to make a public appearance anytime soon. According to the gossipmongers, Dileep and Kavya are still not ready to address the fans and media.

The couple was heavily thrashed by the fans of Dileep's ex-wife Manju Warrier in social media, after their sudden marriage. Rumour mills suggest that both Dileep and Kavya are extremely upset with the social media reaction.

In a recent interview, Kavya has stated they decided to keep the wedding news under wraps, fearing the public. If the reports are to be true, the couple chose to gave IFFK a miss, due to the same reason.
