Kasaba,
the
Mammootty

action
thriller,
is
all
set
to
be
the
biggest
ever
release
in
the
actor's
career.
Reportedly,
the
team
is
planning
to
release
Kasaba
in
about
150
screens
in
Kerala
alone.
While
considering
the
pre-release
hype
and
active
promotional
activities,
the
movie
has
all
chances
to
break
the
initial
collection
record
set
by
Dulquer
Salmaan
starrer
Kali
and
Mohanlal
movie
Loham.
Kali,
which
was
released
in
about
118
screens
in
Kerala
alone,
has
made
an
initial
collection
of
Rs.
2.33
Crores,
thus
creating
a
new
record.
Loham,
on
the
other
hand,
was
released
in
145
screens
in
Kerala.
It
still
remains
as
the
biggest
ever
release
of
Mollywood
till
date.
The
movie
made
a
gross
collection
of
Rs.
2.14
Crores,
thus
emerging
as
the
second
movie
to
make
the
highest
initial
collection
in
Kerala.
Kasaba
will
break
the
record
of
Loham
by
getting
released
in
150
screens,
thus
emerging
as
the
biggest
ever
release
of
Mollywood.
The
movie
is
also
expected
to
be
the
highest
grossing
Mammootty
film
ever.
The
movie,
which
will
have
Mammootty
in
the
role
of
a
police
officer,
is
written
and
directed
by
Nithin
Renji
Panicker.
