Will Mohanlal Score A Hat-trick Of Blockbusters With Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol?

The year 2016 has been really a special one for Mohanlal. He has got everything right in this year, as far as films are concerned. After a lacklustre 2015, the actor has bounced back strongly, thereby silencing his critics.

Mohanlal is gearing up for the release of his next movie Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, which would hit the theatres on December 22, 2016. The pre-release promotions of the film is going at full-swing. The motion poster of the film, which was released recently has garnered good reception from the audience.

The film has been directed by Vellimoonga fame Jibu Jacob. The film is loosely based on the popular short story Pranayopanishath and has its script written by Sindhuraj.

Expectations are sky high on this movie. Considering the fact that Mohanlal has had a phenomenal run in this year, the movie is expected to garner a big opening. Importantly, the film handles a family based subject and there are all chances for the movie to turn out a big blockbuster.

In fact, Mohanlal already has two big blockbusters in Mollywood, this year. Oppam, which released in the month of September was his first Malayalam release of the year and the movie emerged as a big blockbuster.

Pulimurugan, which released in the month of October emerged as the biggest hit in the history of Malayalam cinema. All eyes would be on the actor's Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol and if it turns out to be a big hit, it would be a hat-trick of blockbusters for Mohanlal in 2016, as far as Malayalam films are concerned. It also has to be noted that, the actor's Telugu film, Janatha Garage was a blockbuster in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions.
