Alamara Box Office: Total Kerala Collections

Sunny Wayne starrer Alamara, which was one of the major releases of the month of March made it to the theatres on March 17, 2016. Much was expected from the movie, as it came from the team of Ann Maria Kalippilanu.

Contrary to the expectations, Alamara failed to mark any impact on the viewers. The initial reviews for the film were largely negative and that surely affected the box office collections of the movie.

Now, according to the latest reports, Alamara managed to fetch just 3.90 Crores from its total run in Kerala, which is totally disappointing.

Alamara couldn't make an impact in rest of the parts of the country as well, owing to the negative reviews that the film received.

The film also faced stiif competition from Manju Warrier starrer C/O Saira Banu, which was released on the same day, along woth Alamara. C/O Saira Banu opened to positive reviews in the theatres.

Along with that, the release of other biggies like Take Off and The Great Father further hampered the chances of the movie at the box office.

Alamara, directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas featured Sunny Wayne and Aditi Ravi in the lead roles. The film also featured actors like Aju Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Renji Panicker, Manikandan Achari etc., in important roles.
