Alphonse Puthren To Join Hands With The Premam Team Once Again!

Premam, which released in 2015 was a path-breaking movie. The film directed by Alphonse Puthren was a runaway success at the box office, both in Kerala and its neighbouring states.

Now, what we hear is that Alphonse Puthren is all set to join hands with the Premam team once again. But this time, the young film-maker would don the hat of a producer.

Reportedly, the upcoming film will be directed by Mohsin Kasim and the movie would feature actors like Sharafudheen, Siju Wilson, Krishna Sankar, Sabareesh etc., in the lead roles. All the four of them were an important part of the Nivin Pauly starrer Premam.

It was Alphonse Puthren himself, who revealed the details of his debut film as a producer, through his Facebook page. He did send out a handwritten note, which was indeed a casting call notice for the role of the leading lady of the film.

He has stated that he decided to produce the movie after liking the story that Mohsin Kasim narrated to him. Well, we hope that the debut movie of Alphonse Puthren as a producer would make waves at the box office, just like Premam did.
