Manju
Warrier
is
gearing
up
for
the
release
of
her
latest
film
C/O
Saira
Banu,
which
will
hit
the
theatres
tomorrow
(March
17,
2017).
The
film,
is
the
first
release
of
the
actress
in
2017
and
the
audiences
have
pinned
high
hopes
on
the
movie.
It
is
after
a
gap
of
close
to
8
months
that
a
film
of
Manju
Warrier
is
hitting
the
theatres.
The
actress
would
definitely
want
to
begin
the
year
with
a
big
hit.
Well,
Manju
Warrier's
previous
release
was
Karinkunnam
Sixes,
which
released
in
July
2016.
Before
the
release
of
C/O
Saira
Banu,
here
we
analyse
the
box
office
performances
of
Manju
Warrier's
previous
5
movies.

Karinkunnam
Sixes
(2016)
Karinkunnam
Sixes,
which
had
Manju
Warrier
in
the
lead
role
as
a
Volleyball
Coach,
was
a
movie
in
the
lines
of
a
sports
drama.
While
certain
elements
of
the
film
worked
out
pretty
well,
certain
others
didn't.
Nevertheless,
Manju
Warriergave
a
decent
performance
while
portraying
the
role
of
Vandana.

Verdict:
Average
Vettah
(2016)
For
the
first
time,
we
got
to
see
Manju
Warrier
in
the
Khaki
avatar,
through
Rajesh
Pillai's
Vettah.
The
film,
which
also
featured
Kunchacko
Boban
and
Indrajith
in
the
lead
roles
was
a
thriller.
The
film,
did
fetch
some
decent
reviews,
but
unfortunately
couldn't
make
it
really
big
at
the
box
office.

Verdict:
Average
Jo
And
The
Boy
(2015)
Much
was
expected
from
this
film,
which
was
the
second
directorial
venture
of
Philips
And
The
Monkey
Pen
fame
Rojin
Abraham.
We
got
to
see
Manju
Warrier
in
a
very
refreshing
role
and
that
was
the
sole
positive
of
this
movie,
which
failed
to
connect
well
with
the
audiences.
The
movie
also
faced
stiff
competition
from
other
movies
like
Charlie,
Two
Countries,
Adi
Kapyare
Kootamani
etc.

Verdict:
Flop
Rani
Padmini
(2015)
After
a
long
wait,
Mollywood
got
a
road
movie
in
the
form
of
Rani
Padmini,
which
had
two
of
the
most
talented
actresses
of
Mollywood
on
board.
Manju
Warrier
and
Rima
Kallingal
handled
the
lead
roles
in
this
film,
directed
by
Aashiq
Abu.
Disappointingly,
the
film
didn't
meet
the
expectations
of
the
audiences.

Verdict:
Flop
Ennum
Eppozhum
(2015)
We
got
to
see
Mohanlal
and
Manju
Warrier,
back
together
on
screen,
with
this
film,
directed
by
Sathyan
Anthikkad.
In
fact,
the
combo
of
Mohanlal
and
Manju
Warrier
was
the
biggest
positive
of
this
movie.
The
film
did
well
among
the
family
audiences.

Office
Verdict:
Hit
Apart
from
the
above
mentioned
movies,
Manju
Warrier
was
also
a
part
of
the
2016
film
Paavada,
in
which
Manju
Warrier
did
a
special
cameo.
The
film
was
a
big
hit
at
the
box
office.
Well,
it
is
a
fact
that
a
real
big
hit
hasn't
come
her
way
in
the
recent
times.
With
C/O
Saira
Banu,
directed
by
Antony
Sony,
the
actress
would
definitely
hope
to
break
that
jinx.
The
film
also
features
Shane
Nigam
and
Amala
Akkineni
in
the
lead
roles.
