Sunday Holiday, Asif Ali's most recent release, made a release in the past week, without much fanfare. But, good reports started pouring in for the movie, which has helped the film to establish a strong presence at the box office.
According to the trade reports, the Asif Ali starrer has fetched above 2.5 Crores from its 3 days of run at the Kerala box office. The box office collections are expected to soar to new heights in the coming days.

Tiyaan, the big release of the month had a fantastic opening but this Prithviraj and Indrajith starrer couldn't carry that same momentum forward. The weekdays collections for the movie ended on a dull note and in the second week, the film has lost out quite a few centres. If reports are to be believed, the film has crossed the 10-Crore mark at the Kerala box office but still, it would be hard for the movie to break even as Tiyaan is a big budget movie.

Thondimythalum Driksakshiyum is going great guns at the Kerala box office. The Fahadh Faasil starrer continues to draw huge crowds to the theatres, and the amazing positive word of mouth has definitely helped the movie a lot.
In multiplex centres, there has been an increase in the number of shows. If reports are to be believed, the film has already crossed the 15-Crore mark at the Kerala box office.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos. Directed by Anurag Basu also made a release in the past week. The film has been receiving some good reviews upon its release. On the other hand, Oru Cinemakkaran, one among the Eid releases have lost out some centres.
Well, the way ahead for Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum looks safe and smooth as no other big releases have been charted for a release. This week will witness the arrival of two Malayalam movies, Vinay Fort and Joju George starrer Kadam Katha and Aneesh Anwar's Basheerinte Premalekhanam.
