Comrade In America-CIA, the Dulquer Salmaan starring romantic drama is all set to enter the second week of its release. The movie, which is directed by cinematographer-director Amal Neerad has earned the superhit status at the box office.

Comrade In America-CIA has made a total gross collection of Rs. 11.50 Crores from the Kerala box office, within the first 7 days (1 week) of its theatrical run.

Accoring to the trade experts, Comrade In America is nearing the 20-Crore mark at the all India box office, when it enters the second week of its release.

First Weekend Collections

Comrade In America had made a total gross collection of 7.70 Crores from the Kerala box office, within the first weekend (3 days) of its release.

First 4 Days Collections

According to the trade experts, CIA has made a total gross collection of 9.70 Crores from the Kerala box office, within the first 4 days of its release.

Initial Collections

Comrade In America-CIA had made a grand opening at the box office, by making an initial collection of 3.09 Crores.

Thus, Comrade In America has emerged as the biggest ever opening in lead actor Dulquer Salmaan's acting career. The Amal Neerad movie has also become the emerged as the third highest initial collection grosser of Malayalam movie industry.

Even though the release of SS Rajamouli's big budget movie Baahubali 2 has severely affected the box office performance of Comrade In America, the Dulquer Salmaan starrer has succeeded in earning the super hit tag.

CIA marked the second collaboration of Dulquer Salmaan with the Amal Neerad, after the highly acclaimed anthology movie 5 Sundarikal. Dulquer had essayed the central character in the segment Kullante Bharya, directed by Amal, in the movie.

Karthika Muralidharan, the daughter of renowned cinematographer CK Muralidharan has essayed the female lead in the movie, which features Siddique, Maniyanpilla Raju, Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph, John Vijay, Sujith Shankar, Chandini Sreedharan, Parvathy, etc., in the supporting roles.
