It was rumoured that the actress is planning to retire from films and dancing, to concentrate on family life. But in the Dileep Show 2017 press meet, Dileep and Kavya confirmed that she will be performing in the show.
When Kavya Madhavan Replaced Mamtha Mohandas
Even though Kavya had decided to accompany Dileep in the trip, she initially had no plans to perform. Mamtha Mohandas, who was initially a part of the show, backed out due to health issues. Later, Dileep convinced Kavya to join the show instead of Mamtha.

However, the sources close to Kavya have confirmed that the actress has absolutely no plans to continue her acting career. Instead, Kavya is planning to concentrate on her family life and business.

In the recent interview given to Manorama Online, Dileep had finally opened up about the divorce with Manju Warrier and remarriage with Kavya Madhavan. According to the actor, he and Kavya were not in a relationship before marriage.
Dileep also stated that Kavya was not the reason for his divorce with Manju Warrier, as the rumour mills suggest. The actor decided to marry Kavya, as she was unnecessarily blamed for everything that went wrong in his and Manju's married life.
The actor feels that Kavya can be a perfect life partner for him, as she has also gone through a very painful first marriage. Dileep also revealed that Kavya is not a mother for his daughter Meenakshi, but the duo shares a great friendship.
