Dileep had tied the knot with an Aluva-based woman who is a distant relative, before he met Manju Warrier. The couple was in a serious relationship for a few years, before Dileep made it big in films.
Reportedly, the actor tied the knot with her at the Aluva Desom Registrar Office, in the presence of his close friends and relatives.
Affair With Manju & Separation With First Wife
Meanwhile, Dileep was roped in to play the lead role in Sallapam, and he fell in love with co-star Manju Warrier. Later, the actor separated with his first wife, with the help of his close relatives.

Manju's family strongly opposed her relationship with Dileep. The actress later eloped with him and the couple got married, on October 20, 1998. If the reports are to be true, Manju was unaware of Dileep's first marriage.

Manju and Dileep separated after the actress allegedly found out her husband's affair with Kavya Madhavan. The couple started living separately in 2013. They filed for divorce in 2014, and it was granted in January 2015.

However, Aby has stated that he is not aware of the inner details of the marriage and divorce.
