OH NO! Dileep's Georgettan's Pooram Postponed Again?

Georgettan's Pooram, the upcoming comical entertainer is supposed to be the first release of Dileep in 2017. But as per the latest updates, the much-awaited movie might not hit the theatres anytime soon.

As per the latest updates, Georgettan's Pooram, which was slated to release on March 31st, Friday, has been postponed to April. Reportedly, the team has decided to release the movie as Dileep's Vishu release.

According to some sources close to the project, Georgettan's Pooram team is not so keen to have a box office clash with The Great Father, the upcoming Mammootty movie which hits the theatres on March 30th.

If the reports are to be true, the recent controversies surrounding Dileep has also been a reason for the makers to postponed the release of the movie. The new release date is expected to be revealed soon.

Georgettan's Pooram, which is the second directorial venture of Dr Love fame Biji K, revolves around the titular character George, the spoiled son of a pastor. Dileep appears as George in the movie.

Rajisha Vijayan essays the female lead opposite Dileep in the movie, which is scripted by YV Rajesh. Georgettan's Pooram is produced by Ajay Gosh, Bejoy Chandran, and Shivanee Suraj for Chand V Creations and Shivani Entertainments.
