Dileep,
the
janapriyanayakan
has
played
a
great
role
in
solving
the
cinema
strike
in
Kerala.
But
now,
the
Exhibitors
Federation
head
Liberty
Basheer
has
raised
some
severe
allegations
against
the
actor.
According
to
Liberty
Basheer,
Dileep
gained
the
support
of
most
of
the
Exhibitors
Federation
Members,
by
threatening
them.
A
large
number
of
members
had
quit
the
Exhibitors
Federation,
to
join
the
new
Theatre
Owners
Association.
Even
though
they
haven't
intervened
publicly
in
the
issue,
Mammootty
and
Mohanlal
are
said
to
have
offered
complete
support
to
Dileep's
actions.
Mammootty's
close
associate
Anto
Joseph
and
Mohanlal's
partner
Antony
Perumbavoor
are
active
members
of
the
new
association.
Liberty
Basheer
has
also
alleged
that
the
new
Theatre
Owners
Association
and
Producers
Association
have
raised
an
unofficial
ban
against
the
Exhibitors
Federation
members
and
theatres
under
their
ownerships.
If
things
proceed
at
the
same
rate,
the
upcoming
movies
Jomonte
Suvisheshangal
and
Munthirivallikal
Thalirkkumbol
will
not
release
in
the
theatres
under
the
ownership
of
about
25
Exhibitors
Federations
members.
But,
the
new
Theatre
Owners
Association
and
Producers
Association
have
slammed
Liberty
Basheer's
allegations.
They
stated
that
it
is
the
producers
of
the
respective
movies,
who
decided
not
release
in
the
theatres
of
Exhibitors
Federation
members.
