I Choose Subjects Which I Like To Watch: Dulquer Salmaan

Dulquer Salmaan, the young actor is all set to release his highly anticipated project Comrade In America aka CIA, tomorrow. In a recent interview, Dulquer opened up about his movie preferences and career choices.

According to the actor, the only factor he considers while choosing the subjects is whether he would like to watch it in the theatre as a common viewer. Dulquer Salmaan states that he doesn't believe in following any particular formula while choosing films.

Interestingly, Dulquer also stated that he hardly discusses films with his father Mammootty, as they spend very little time together these days. The young actor will only share the subjects with his fathers, either if they are really interesting, or he is confused.

Dulquer states that it is not Mammootty's acting style, but his extreme passion towards cinema is the factor which has influenced him the most. The actor states that his father is a great inspiration for all youngsters when it comes to the love for cinema.

He is extremely proud that his father makes a tough competition for him and other young actors, with his extraordinary screen presence. Dulquer Salmaan stated that he has never compared himself with Mammootty, and is the biggest fan of his father.

The actor, who also expressed his extreme happiness over co-star Vinayakan winning the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor in the interview, stated that he considers Kammatipaadam as one of the finest films in his career.
