Prithviraj's most recent release Ezra, which hit the theatres on February 10, 2017, is continuing its good show amidst some extremely positive reviews that the film has been receiving.
After a stupendous start, with the film grossing almost 2.61 Crores on its opening day, Ezra has gone on to fetch big on its first weekend.
Reportedly, the 3 days Kerala collections of Ezra stands at 8.53 Crores. The Saturday and Sunday collections for the movie are nothing less than phenomenal.
According to the reports, Ezra went on to fetch 2.91 Crores on Saturday, which is higher than the first day collections for the movie. The Sunday witnessed a further surge in collections, with the movie raking in 3.01 Crores.
Interestingly, due to the public demand and huge rush that the movie has been witnessing, special shows for the movie were held in many centres in Kerala.
In Kochi multiplexes, Ezra has set some big records, with the movie entering the 50 Lakh club in no time, making it the fastest Malayalam movie to reach the mark.
The weekday collections will be quite crucial for Ezra and going by the good reports pouring in, it looks like the movie will have steady collections on the weekdays, as well.
Ezra, directed by debutant Jay K also features Priya Anand, Tovino Thomas, Sujith Sankar, Vijayaraghavan, Sudev Nair, Babu Antony etc., in important roles.
