Veteran film-maker Siddique is all set to make the month of February a special one for the audiences, with his latest film Fukri, which has hit the theatres today (February 03, 2017).The film features Jayasurya in the lead role and it is for the first time that both the actor and the director are joining hands for a movie.

Fukri turns out to be just an average fare considering the fact that it comes from a stalwart like Siddique. The second half didn't rise to the occasion with too many things happening... Well, the movie is targeting the family audiences and the rich star cast and occasional comedies might appeal them.

First Production Venture Of Siddique
Fukri is indeed a very special project to director Siddique. The movie marks the film-maker's debut as a producer. Fukri, has been produced jointly by Siddique, Jenso Jose and Vaishaka Rajan. With Fukri, Siddique's production banner S Talkies has stepped in to the industry.
Siddique-Lal Combo, Once Again!
With Fukri, we have got to see the much loved Siddique-Lal combo, once again. This time, Lal will be seen in the role of an actor by portraying a very important character in the movie. It is for the first time that Siddique is directing Lal in a Malayalam movie.
Earlier Titled As Lucky
Interestingly, there were much speculations regarding the title of the movie. Earlier, there were reports doing the rounds that the movie has been titled as Lucky, based on the character Lukman portrayed by Jayasurya in the movie. Later, Siddique confirmed the movie's title as Fukri.
Celebrating 25 Years Of Godfather
It has been 25 years since the blockbuster movie Godfather released. Incidentally, Siddique-Lal team celebrated the 25th anniversary of the movie on the sets of Fukri. The entire team of Fukri along with with actor Siddique and Thesni Khan, who were also a part of Godfather movie, were present for the celebration.

Actor Siddique will be seen playing a pivotal role in the movie. In fact, it is after a big break of 25 years that the actor is working with director Siddique in a movie. Earlier, Siddique,Lal and actor Siddique had teamed up for movies In Harihar Nagar and Godfather. Thus, Fukri marks the reunion of the team.
Jayasurya Playing A Kleptomaniac?
Earlier reports suggested that in Fukri, Jayasurya will be playing a Kleptomaniac, who steals objects and returns back on time. But,later reports surfaced that the character played by Jayasurya isn't a Kleptomaniac and is just an engineering dropout.
Fukri – One Of The Biggest Releases Of Jayasurya
Fukri, is a big budget movie and the makers have opted for a wide release. The movie is also one of the biggest releases of Jayasurya and the movie is simultaneously releasing in places like Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai, Mumbai, Gujarat, Pune, Delhi, Nasik etc.
