Georgettan's Pooram Box Office: 2 Days Kerala Collections

Georgettan's Pooram, the recently released Dileep movie hit the screens on April 1, as the actor's first release of 2017. The movie, which is directed by Biju K, is performing well at the Kerala box office.

According to the trade experts, Georgettan's Pooram has made a total gross collection of 3.26 Crores from the Kerala box office, within the first two days of its release. The movie 1.44 Crores on the second day alone.

It is undoubtedly a disappointing figure for a Dileep movie, as the collection was reduced on the second day, despite being a Sunday. Georgettan's Pooram has thus failed to beat the collections of The Great Father, which was released on March 30.

The Dileep movie had made a decent opening at the box office, by making 1.82 Crores gross collection on its release day. But the negative reviews have badly affected Georgettan's Pooram, which resulted in a downfall in the collections.

The movie has severely disappointed the audiences, who were expecting a classic comedy film from the Dileep. Reportedly, the actor's negative image among the audiences post his second marriage has also severely affected the film.

Georgettan's Pooram, which stars Rajisha Vijayan in the female lead, is YV Rajesh. The movie, which stars Dileep in the titular role George, is produced by Chaand V Creations and Shivanee Entertainment.
