Georgettan's Pooram Box Office: Day 1 Kerala Collections

Georgettan's Pooram, the Dileep starring comical entertainer hit the theatres on April 1. The movie, which is directed by Biju K, has opened to mixed reviews from both the critics and audiences.

As per the latest updates from the trade analysts, Georgettan's Pooram has made an initial collection of 1.82 Crores on its releasing day, from the Kerala box office. It is undoubtedly an decent opening for a Dileep movie.

However, Georgettan's Pooram has not succeeded in impressing the audiences, except the die-hard fans of Dileep's formula masala films. The movie has severely disappointed the audiences, who were expecting a classic comedy film from the janapriyanayakan.

Reportedly, the movie still gets a strong support from the fans of Dileep and masala entertainers, especially the family audiences. Georgettan's Pooram is expected to emerge as one of the biggest commercial hits in Dileep's career.

Georgettan's Pooram is the story of the irresponsible son of pastor Mathews Vadakkan, named George Vadakkan. Dileep appears as the titular character George, while actor-writer Renji Panicker plays his father Mathews.

Kerala state award winner Rajisha Vijayan has essayed the female lead in the movie, which stars TG Ravi, Vinay Forrt, Sharafudheen, Sunil Sukhadha, Chemban Vinod Jose, Jayaraj Warrier, Malavika Nair, Kalaranjini, Kulappulli Leela, etc. in the supporting roles.
