Has Mohanlal Ever Competed With Mammootty?

Mammootty and Mohanlal are the two biggest superstars that Malayalam cinema has ever produced. They have been the two strong pillars of Malayalam film industry, for the past 30 years, which prove their iconic stature.

Fans of Mammootty and Mohanlal have always been at loggerheads comparing one star with the other. But, the fact is that both the stars share a good vibe and are among the best of friends.

In a recent interview, Mohanlal shared his experiences of acting with Mammootty and whether there existed a competition between them or not.

Mohanlal stated that there was never a competition between him and Mammootty, and he also added that their chances for competing now are also less since both of them have a lot of films in hands.

Mammootty and Mohanlal have acted together in 54 movies so far, and Mohanlal remarked that the
only instance a competition existed among them was when they were doing a film together and that too, just to outwit one another.

Well, it is always a treat to watch both these supreme actors together on screen. In fact, no two superstars of other industries have worked together in so many films.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal is basking in the success of his recent film Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol. Mammootty is gearing up for the big release of his upcoming film The Great Father, which is expected to hit the theatres in March.
