Tamil movie Ayutha Ezhuthu, which released in the year 2004, is still regarded as one of the classics crafted by the veteran film-maker Mani Ratham.
The film, which was in the lines of a political thriller, narrated the lives of three different people hailing from three different sections of the society. The film featured Madhavan, Suriya and Sidharth in the lead roles.
The story and scenario of the movie is quite familiar to Malayalam audiences as well and with some minute changes, the film is perfect for a Malayalam remake.

Fahadh Faasil As Inba Sekhar
Fahadh Faasil should be the obvious choice for this role that was made a defining one by actor Madhavan. The character Inba is a rugged, crooked guy and with extreme negative shades. Fahadh Faasil can bring in that much required intensity for the character and emerge as the show-stealer.
Dulquer Salmaan As Michael Vasanth
Michael Vasanth is a student leader who has strict political views. The role was played by Suriya in the original and coming to Mollywood, Dulquer Salmaan would be the perfect choice for the role. Kalidas Jayaram As Arjun Balakrishnan

Namitha Pramod As Meera
The character Meera is the most vibrant one in the entire film. She is the love interest of Arjun and the one who brings a change in Arjun's character. The role which Trisha portrayed in the original can be easily portrayed by Namitha Pramod, if the movie is remade in Malayalam.
Lal As Selvanayagam
Selvanayagam, a powerful politician played by Bharathiraja, appears only in a few sequences of the movie, but has an important role to play in the movie. From Mollywood, we feel that actor-director Lal will be perfect for this role.
Ayutha Ezhuthu went on to receive wide critical acclaim upon its release. All the lead actors were praised for their performances in the film. The songs composed by A R Rahman were also big hits.
Interestingly, the film was simultaneously made in Hindi as Yuva and it featured Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Vivek Oberoin in the lead roles.
Well, if such a remake happens with Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil and Kalidas Jayaram in the lead roles, we all could witness breathtaking performances from each of them.
