Jomonte
Suvisheshangal,
the
recently
released
Dulquer
Salmaan
starrer
has
been
criticised
for
its
similarities
with
Jacobinte
Swargarajyam.
In
a
recent
interview,
Dr
Iqbal
Kuttippuram,
the
writer
of
Jomonte
Suvisheshangal,
finally
reacted
to
the
allegations.
The
scenarist
bitterly
denied
the
allegations
and
stated
that
Jomonte
Suvisheshangal
is
not
a
copy
of
Jacobinte
Swargarajyam.
But,
Dr
Iqbal
admitted
that
both
the
movies
are
similar
when
it
comes
to
the
basic
plot,
but
it
was
purely
coincidental.
Iqbal
had
completed
the
screenplay
and
director
Sathyan
Anthikad
had
started
the
pre-production
of
Jomonte
Suvisheshangal,
much
before
the
release
of
Jacobinte
Swargarajyam.
The
team
began
the
shoot
just
after
a
few
days
of
the
Vineeth
Sreenivasan
movie's
release.
Later,
Dr
Iqbal
personally
met
Vineeth
Sreenivasan,
to
discuss
the
similarities
between
the
plot
of
the
projects.
But,
the
young
director
boosted
their
confidence
and
asked
the
team
to
go
ahead
with
the
Dulquer
Salmaan
project.
However,
the
social
media
have
been
mercilessly
attacking
the
Sathyan
Anthikad
movie,
by
stating
that
it
is
a
complete
copy
of
Jacobinte
Swargarajyam.
The
trolls
regarding
the
same
have
been
doing
rounds
on
Facebook
and
Twitter
from
the
past
few
days.
